I'm a London-based creative whose work consists of a wide range of outcomes. My work is focused on branding, creative direction and design. The practical dimension of my work ranges from graphic design, print design and moving image outcomes to explorations within augmented reality.
My inquiry-led practice is situated at the interface between design and other areas of research. I employ process-driven design methods to access and understand other fields, such as physics, biology, philosophy and anthropology.
My interest lies in the application of design as a tool for critical reflection and theoretical engagement. The fields of my enquiry include science, consumerism, hyperreality, ‘the fake’, the agency of non-human things and how materiality is affected by the shift from the physical to the virtual.
The approach to my work is driven by a methodical, strategic process and underpinned by detailed in-depth research that gives design outcomes purpose and meaning. I have a solid understanding of the common Adobe Creative Suite programs and am used to working independently, as part of a team and also as a team leader.
Originally from Germany, I moved to the UK in 2007. I have recently completed an MA in Visual Communication at the Royal College of Art, after having been awarded the Burberry RCA Scholarship for my studies. I previously attained a BA in Graphic Design Communication at Chelsea College of Arts.
